FIHHRST, part of the Moores Rowland Indonesia Group, in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO) through the Resilient, Inclusive, and Sustainable Supply Chains (RISSC) program, hosted a Validation Workshop in Jakarta to refine the Guidance Toolkit on Decent Work, Skills Development, and Responsible Business Conduct.

Refining the Path to Decent Work and Responsible Business

FIHHRST, supported by the International Labour Organization (ILO) through the Resilient, Inclusive, and Sustainable Supply Chains (RISSC) program, recently held a Validation Workshop for their Guidance Toolkit on Decent Work, Skills Development, and Responsible Business Conduct, in Jakarta.

This toolkit is designed to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the electronics sector conduct business more responsibly.

Bringing together experts, government representatives, labor unions, and industry stakeholders, the workshop aimed to enhance the toolkit as a resource designed to help SMEs in the electronics sector adopt fair business practices, safeguard workers' well-being, and enhance employee skills.

Key discussions covered workplace safety, fair wages, and decent work standards, with participants sharing insights on how SMEs can implement these principles effectively. The event underscored the importance of collaboration in fostering ethical and sustainable business practices.
