Opportunities For Growth
November 2024
James Kallman, CEO of Moores Rowland Indonesia, spoke on the theme of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Growth Opportunities for companies at the annual Praxity Global Leadership Conference 2024 in Singapore.
Mr. Kallman highlighted the importance of addressing non-financial risks and championing human rights in corporate governance. His pioneering work in developing a human rights audit methodology reflects Moores Rowland’s commitment to ethical standards and sustainable growth.
"ESG is a pillar of the framework that aims to identify all non-financial risks and opportunities associated with a company's routine," said Mr. Kallman.
Increasingly involved in human rights in recent years, Mr. Kallaman conceptualized and developed the Moores Rowland award-winning human rights audit methodology together with the former attorney general of Indonesia, Marzuki Darusman. Focusing on human rights beyond the compliance auditing services of Moores Rowland's original business led the two, along with other luminaries, to establish the Foundation for International Human Rights Reporting Standards (FIHRRST).
