Meggy is a Master of Law graduate from the University of Indonesia.

Meggy is a Master of Law graduate from the University of Indonesia. In 2001, she joined Grant Thornton, which became Moores Rowland in 2003, as Head of Legal Department. Later she established law firm Mabel and Associates, associated to the Marccus Partners alliance.

Ms Parengkuan majored in corporate and foreign investment laws; she and her team assist foreign investors in establishing and registering legal entities with the various government departments and institutions, including all the other legal aspects usually required within the foreign investment process.

She is also well-versed in property and labour law. A an early stage, Meggy was involved in revising the system for the Indonesian Land and Building tax, as a member of the team which led to the implementation of the new system in 1990.
