Tan Mei Nie is the Partner in charge of the Outsourcing Department specializes in Accounting, Payroll, Outpatient Medical and other types of back office outsourcing services. She has been with the firm for 14 years and her main roles are to manage the operational and fiscal activities of the department, the technical project management, the development of systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency. She supervises 25 staff in accordance with company policies and procedures, which include the responsibility of hiring, training and coaching employees. Ms Mei Nie has a good understanding of complex financial planning concepts and related income tax matters. Her other capabilities include identifying business development opportunities and leveraging technology to continually maximize productivity.

Before joining Moores Rowland in Indonesia, she worked with PriceWaterHouseCoopers Taxation – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as a Tax Consultant where she handled the income tax submission for various companies in the service sector including shipping, trading and manufacturing. One of her major clients was Malaysian International Shipping Company Sdn Bhd (MISC). Besides handling tax affairs of individuals (expatriates), which included completing tax returns and preparing income tax computations, she was actively involved in reviewing and assessing the backlog tax issues of companies and making appropriate tax recommendations; for newly set up companies she has acquired a broad knowledge about tax savings planning. She was further involved in the preparation of detailed tax plans and the review and monitoring of the tax compliance.
